Meet mike

Mike is an avid observer of people and a collector of their stories which he retells through the characters in his fiction.

Mike grew up in Florida and spent more than 40 years as a practicing lawyer in the Florida courts, experience which brings authenticity to The Light Magician. In the decade between 1995 and 2005, he served in mission work in Russia and other countries of the former Soviet Union, experiences which inspired his first novel, Nikolai Returns.

Mike and his wife Dawna now live with their two English Shepherds, Buckley and Georgie, in the Red Hills region of southwest Georgia where they raise grassfed Devon cattle and work to restore the health of the soil on their farm.
